Museum grounds and buildings …  available for photograph purposes of family pictures, senior pictures, class pictures, etc.

Museum Board and Staff will provide historical tours in the County. (Indian Raid sites,Western Cattle Trail crossings, Cemeteries etc.)

Museum Rental Facilities and Rates

We have three facilities for events such as weddings,  business meetings, family or class reunions, showers, and more.

Bohemian Hall Rental Agreement Fees: 

Up to 4 hours = $75   All Day = $150

Cleaning Deposit Required with absolutely NO Alcohol:  $100 This amount should be in a separate check so that it can be refunded if the cleaning of the building is in as good a condition as when rented.

Cleaning Deposit Required with Limited Alcohol: $250 This amount should be in a separate check so that it can be refunded if the cleaning of the building is in as good a condition as when rented.        

Rules and Regulations:

  • At no time during the rental agreement will the RENTER permit any smoking on the premises.  Smokers may smoke in the street.

  • Limited alcohol inside the Hall permitted only with a $200 deposit refunded if the building is in as good a condition as when rented.  This determined by the Museum director.

  • Absolutely NO kegs or large amounts of alcohol permitted. 

  • The Decatur County Museum, Inc., is NOT responsible for any accidents; and the Renter holds the Decatur County Museum, Inc harmless from all responsibility for all types of accidents or incidents, which occur on the premises.

  • The Renter is only renting the Bohemian Hall and the access to it.  The Renter is NOT renting the Museum grounds and access to other areas on the grounds without permission. 

  • After the event, the Renter shall return the premises to the Decatur County Museum, Inc., in as good a condition as when they rented (tables clean, floors swept, trash taken to dumpster, lights and air/heat turned off, all doors locked).  Any damages, which occur on the premises, are the responsibility of the Renter.

  • Renter will not bring any hazardous materials upon the premises.

  • Key to the Hall and Gate need to be picked up from the Museum office prior to the rented event and returned the next working day to the Museum office.

St. Mark’s Church Rental Agreement

Fees:  $75/Church only
  $200/Hall and Church … for all day
